About the project

PT Wijaya International's corporate marketing site with a self-service admin CMS behind it, built on Laravel 12, Inertia v2 and React 19.

I built the Cypress end-to-end suite: 76 test cases across 21 spec files, split across three surfaces. The admin side has a CRUD spec for every resource — products, projects, news and news categories, brands, dealers, the inquiry inbox and the contact-info singleton — plus the dashboard and sidebar. The public side covers the marketing pages, brand filtering, the product overlay, the contact form, the language switcher and the cookie banner. Auth and profile settings round it out.

The suite runs against its own application instance on a separate port with its own SQLite database, refreshed and reseeded between runs, so it never touches development data. Login is a real Fortify form submit cached across specs — a deliberate choice, since logging in per spec file trips Fortify's rate limiter.

Getting there meant working around a few real-world snags: Radix dialogs render in portals, animated headings split titles into per-word spans so text assertions miss them, and Inertia rewrites the URL hash straight after smooth-scroll anchors set it. Each of those is handled in the suite rather than papered over with waits.
